The interview with Olafur Eliasson is interesting.

Why did I think it is interesting is two reasons:
1. Uncertainty
2. The focus on relationship among art objects, space and spectators.

Maybe, the latter is not uncommon, but at least it coincides with one of the current trends in design industry. Actually I've been recently suspicious about the reliability of the opinions that the focal point of our economy is moved from materialistic, or objective factors such as forms and functions of objects, to experience. It could have been already always like that, and just we didn't have a model to explain that phenomenon. Anyway, he tries to include the aspect of our society.

On the other hand, the former is not familiar for me. Of course, there are a lot of art works involving uncertain factors, but I hadn't read this kind of clear statement about uncertainty by an artist. He even says, "the rest of the world seems to be obsessed with eliminating uncertainty and doubt". This notion spots on in terms of Innovation Management, because Innovation Management is more or less about how to deal with uncertainty.

He is an artist, therefore he translates the fact into a kind of visual and sensual experience, so the meaning of uncertainty of his is somehow based on more visual perception, it captures and reflects a characteristics of our society deeply.
