The theme of In Business this week is outsourcing and off-shore. Personally, I felt outsourcing used to be a kind of trend, maybe 5 years ago or so. Now I guess management people think this is one of the options. The balance between insourcing and outsourcing is important, not like one is better than the other. It depends on the situation in which the company is. Therefore, opinions encouraging outsourcing sounds a bit obsolete.
However, actually outsourcing itself also has been changing. Technologies for working remotely has developed. Companies might have to think about how to use it more strategically.
