Better by Design
This TV program by Channel 4 shows the process of a design project by Seymourpowell, which is one of UK leading design consultancies.

It reminded me of how difficult it is!
By the way, their process is more individual-based than some innovation cusltancies such as IDEO advocate, but at least they collaborated with external partners and clients.This program was breadcasted in 2000, and now Seymourpowell is bigger. It is supposed to have more collaborative teams internally.
What I am interested in is the process of iteration. Although they ask their colleage and observe related products, the idea itself is almost from hunch or knowledge they had. Through prototyping, the prodct based on their idea was improved.
I'm not sure taht it should be called "innovation", but this program reveals how designers take steps in their projects.
