The end of the era of lectures

Approaching the end of my course, I sometimes unknowingly have reflected the structre of my course, then I feel lectures do not work well as it did before. Maybe becase information is affluent and we can freely access to excellent lectures via the internet. Of couse, in-person communication is much richer, but in that case, the format should be optimsed for it, for example, workshop or more interactive sessions with the lecturer.
